Regency Chest of Drawers, circa 1820

42" high x 20" deep x 44" wide

A really high quality chest in well figured mahogany. Most unusually, raised on turned legs which extend upwards into protruding corner pillars. The well dovetailed, oak lined drawers are cock-beaded, and the top drawer is fitted with internal compartments and jewelry drawers (see picture). The hardware has been replaced at some point but comprises "lost wax" casting of real quality.
