Antique Chest of Drawers #0507

Bow-fronted Mahogany Chest of Drawers, circa 1870

47 ½" high x 21 ½" deep x 49" wide

This substantial mid-Victorian Chest is raised on bun feet. It has its original locks and rosewood knobs. An interesting feature is that the cock-beaded drawers are lined with pages from the Illustrated London News of December 1881 (see picture). It has an old, faded ink stain on the top and a small mahogany patch to its veneer (see picture).
